Big Changes for Seller-Fulfilled Returns on Amazon
Starting November 4, 2024, seller-fulfilled returns for large and heavy items just got simpler! Amazon is rolling out UPS prepaid return labels to automate the returns process for these items.
What does this mean for you?
🔄 Hassle-Free Returns: Now, when a customer requests a return for large or heavy items, they’ll automatically receive a UPS-tracked prepaid return label, saving you time and minimizing A-to-Z Guarantee claims.
Eligible Items Include:
• Weighing more than 90 lbs (but less than 150 lbs)
• Length over 96 inches, or total length + girth exceeding 130 inches
If it’s the customer’s fault, you can still deduct return shipping costs from the refund.
This is a win-win for sellers handling bulky products! It means less back-and-forth with customers and a smoother returns process that benefits everyone.
💡 Tip: Make sure you’re familiar with the new terms and the UPS shipping criteria to stay ahead of the changes.
