Amazon has very few wins these days but one recent one was making Conversion Path Report public.
Historically, this data was only available in Amazon Marketing Cloud. Most sellers weren't using AMC so this is truly a gift to brand owners.
It has always been somewhat of a mystery to 3P sellers how customers have interacted with their ads before making a purchase. It has ALWAYS felt like a "black box."
π All that has changed!
What really blew my mind is that this report is not limited to just Sponsored Products. It applies to Sponsored Display and DSP as well.
π‘ Instead of wondering how your customer found you, now you know whether is was from a single Sponsored Display ad or it was from a video ad that lead them to a Sponsored Product ad.
You not only get insights into how they became a customer but you also get a total cost breakdown and metrics for their "customer journey."
