Amazon just killed free shipping (and nobody noticed):

While everyone's focused on their AI announcements (us included)…

Amazon quietly raised prices across the board.

The data just leaked, and it's eye-opening:

Average prices from third-party sellers on Amazon rose 6.7% last year… more than double the inflation rate.

But it’s not just because of inflation:

Rising ad costs are forcing sellers to increase prices.

Amazon's sponsored product ads now cost 48% more than they did in 2019…

Which means:

• 65% of Amazon sellers raised their prices last year
• FBA fee increases and ad costs are squeezing seller margins
• 40% of Prime members reported seeing "significantly higher prices"

The winners in this new landscape are the ones who built direct customer relationships outside of Amazon years ago.

Are you keeping up?
