A new feature to protect your margins: Stacked Promotions
A few days ago, I read Brandon Young ´s post about an expensive mistake with stacked coupons.
It’s not a secret that this happens much more often than we read about it, and it looks like Amazon has quietly rolled out a new feature to prevent this: Stacked Promotions Enablement.
Now, when setting up Coupons, Percentage Off, or Buy One Get One promotions, you can specify whether these discounts should be combinable on the same ASIN during the same period.
This means you can enhance your promotional offers by allowing customers to benefit from multiple discounts simultaneously.
This flexibility can significantly impact your promotional strategy and protect you profitability, especially during high-traffic sales periods like Black Friday or Prime Day.
So now, you must carefully select these options when creating a promotion.
Amazon will not be responsible for providing a refund if you set your promotions to stack by selecting "Yes, allow stacking."
