🚨🚨 Attention Sellers: New Compliance Requirements Ahead!🚨 🚨
Amazon said at Accelerate that they would make some changes in the listing creation process, but I didn't expect them to do it this fast.
Compliance is now the priority when listing products.
Unsurprisingly, all sellers must stay on top of compliance laws, regulations, and our policies because customer safety is vital for Amazon's relevancy, and they want to ensure every product is safe, reliable, and compliant.
🔍 What’s Changing?
Starting September 30, 2024, any new product listings that require compliance documents must have those approved before you can list the product. So, you’ll need to provide the necessary documentation upfront.
We will finally be able to do the work proactively instead of reacting after Amazon restricted our listings. This is a huge win IMO.
Why this matters:
This update reinforces Amazon’s commitment to customer safety and having rightful and legitimate sellers on the platform.
Even though this change doesn’t affect existing listings, it underscores the importance of compliance for new products.
If you’re planning any product launches soon, make sure to check your compliance checklist before listing!
Are you ready to ensure your products meet these new standards?
