Amazon bans keyword-stuffed titles from January 21, 2025. New rules cap titles at 200 characters, remove special characters, and eliminate repetitive keywords. Focus shifts from SEO hacking to brand quality and clear product features.

☠️RIP Long Amazon Titles🚨

It’s about freaking time, Amazon! Starting January 21, my birthday by the way, long titles with redundant keyword stuffing will be banished for good.

I have been asking Amazon for this change for years so I couldn’t be happier about this news.

Amazon listing titles are utter trash. They should be brand and feature focused. This is a good step in the right direction.

- Titles capped at 200 characters for most categories.
- No more special characters.
- Say goodbye to repetitive keywords.

2025 is gearing up to truly become the year of branding and less about SEO hacking. It’s all about your product quality. It all boils down to this.
